    I want to be able to duplicate a document from a previous year and then set it to expire on a certain day. I dont' want to have to rebuild form a template each time.

    This already exists within the application doesn't it. Check the settings for Expiration on a document.

    Set the expiration date in the template so all of the documents created from that template expired on the same date no matter when each of them has been sent. Applicable for promotional campaigns that are valid only for a specific period of time.

    Set a specific expiration date in the template so all documents created from it expired on the same date no matter when each of them has been sent. Applicable for promo campaigns with limited time.
