Comments on templates
I would love the ability to make comments on templates that then show on the documents that are created. It would help us give instructions/context and could be removed by just resolving the comment.

Additional field format. Currently only 2 phone options ; US or International. Some of our apps require no "+"
Some application that we integrate template feedback with with require that we have no preliminary "+" symbol for telephone and fax fields. This would appear to be a simple and quick update.

We need global tag management
It would be a great help if there were global tag-management in the UI.
As others have pointed out, many of us seem to want to be able to delete and sort tags.
My current frustration is that my “2023” tag and my “2024” tag are near the top and near the bottom of the tag selector dialog respectively (and the “tag cloud” in the Content Library). This makes no sense. I added 2023 in the last two days and 2024 today, and they are nowhere near each other.
I would love to be able to sort my tags alphabetically…

Recipient Enabled Fields at the Template level please
We send about 200 quotes out a month and REALLY want the recipient to be able to adjust quantities. Right now we manually have to set this on every one of these quotes. If I could set that as a feature in the template it would make our life much easier!

Option to Disable Saving Template Everytime I send a document.
One extra click might seem insignificant, but when you're doing this all day long, it becomes extremely inconvenient. It seems like a simple fix to just give us the option to turn this default off. I didn't notice it in the trial, or maybe I thought it would eventually stop asking.

Document sequence number token appears in template name when creating a document through HubSPot
Currently the document sequence number only appears in template name when creating a document from PandaDoc but not when creating it from HubSpot. We identify templates according to the sequence number so having this number appearing in the template name whatever way you access it is very important to us, because all our employees create documents from HubSpot.

Folder Lock/Hide Option
Hi, I wish there should be a lock option or Hide option for the folder for the archived documents or templates, Users should not tend to pick up the old templates or documents when they create new documents.

Template & Content Library - Ability to set rules or automate giving direction or order to the person creating it.
I'd like the document based on the template to ask the creator to select which of the content library items should be used for particular alternate content. That is, how to make sure the person creating the document from template chooses one (but only one)

Page Break Formatting
Page breaks: PDF page breaks, where content library items are not brought in properly and the page break is in a different place than it initially shows.
