Chat Notification: email notifications for chat messages
As a user,
I want to recieve an e-mail notification when a new chat message has been send in a document.

Table of Contents: Left Side Navigation While Editing
Our team works with complex documents consisting of multiple sections. The ability to display the Table of Contents on the left side navigation while the document is being built/edited would be extremely helpful. I understand how to turn that on for display when viewing the completed document, but is there a way to have this function during document creation?

Always open a document in a new tab
When opening a new or existing document, it would be great if it would always open automatically in a new tab. This would make changing between different documents easier.

Allow for a warning message prior to sending when a request for payment is needed but no payment setting turned on.
We are seeing some issues with people sending payment requests with no Payment setting turned on.
Allow for a warning message prior to sending where it says something like “We see you need to collect payment, but didn’t add the Payment option for your signer. Would you like to add this?”

Additional Document List Information
Currently the document list has Title, Status, Value, and Modified date. It would be nice if other data were available like the number of documents within the document and the number of attachments attached to a document.

View all PandaDoc accounts billing a specific card
It would be really nice if there was a way to see how many accounts I am paying for with my card. Some way to locate duplicate accounts would be great.

The ability to edit fields as you are using the 'Tab' button on the keyboard to navigate.
Currently, when you use the 'Tab' button on the keyboard to navigate through fields on a document, you still have to click into the field to edit it. This feature request is to ask for the process to be more seamless as PandaDoc users are working through a document that may have many fields.

Smart content (conditional logic) - quicker response time
Would like the smart content (conditional logic) to respond quicker.
I have tried using this recent feature update but finding it extremely slow to react to a click and then display the field corresponding with the selection.
I would see this as being frustrating for customers so have not implemented due to the slow nature of the dropdowns.

A faster way to send another document after completing the previous invite. At the moment it takes 3+ clicks. Make it 1 click

Change the default screen for creating a document: Make My templates a default page when creating documents
Be able to set the preferred screen for when you go to create a document. Instead of the Quick Access tab, would like to be able to set the default to seeing My templates when creating a document and set this for a workspace. See images for reference:

In the template editor, have a visual cue for if a field is optional or required.
Instead of having to click on a field, then click on properties to see whether or not the field is required, have some visual indication that shows whether a field is optional or required, similar to how the template looks after it is sent.

When you highlight or click into a table cell, it makes white text very hard to see or edit.

Signing order usability improvements
When entering multiple emails to who you are going to send the document, the first option should be to add an order of who signs first, 2nd, and so forth. Too many steps to get around it. Making it very complicated.

Reporting documents by Updated Date
It would be helpful if we were able to run a report based on Updated Date and not just by Documents Created, Sent, and Completed. There was a time before the reporting had been updated where we could see all document activity for a given day based on the Updated Date. This would give me a complete picture of activity (Created, Sent, Updated, Completed) for that given day. Thanks!

Warning that text will be cut off in PDF
If the text entered in a drop-down field is longer than the field, that text will be cut off in the PDF download of the completed document. Display a warning when this is a possibility.
