Hi. Thank you so much for reaching out and sharing your perspective. By combining two current features - "Enabling recipient options" and "Multiple Choice Selection" - you can customize your pricing tables in a way that makes certain items required for customers to select.

           - Enabling Recipient Options: Go to the three-dot menu next to the product line in your quote and enable both the "Optional items" and "Quantity editing" toggles.
*Important: Make sure at least one field is assigned to the recipient to interact with the quote.
           - Multiple-choice Section: Create a section in the pricing table by clicking '+ Section'.
Right-click the section header and go to 'Recipient options' > 'Enable multiple choice'

More information can be accessed here! I hope these features can help you. If not, please keep upvoting this idea so we can keep considering it every time we work on our roadmap.

  4. The possibility to merge the upper cells in a pricing table rows, which usually say Price, QTY, Name etc.

Hi. Thank you so much for reaching out and sharing your perspective. While we currently don’t offer this feature, we made some improvements to our product that may help you cover those scenarios. Here are the instructions:

    1. Hide the total section and add text block below the pricing table.
    2. Use Pricing table total variable or any other that you'd need to adjust.
    3. Change format as needed via Text design.

We hope these releases can help you. If not, please keep upvoting this idea, so we can keep considering it every time we work on our roadmap.

  7. Columns that the recipient will be able to edit (or put any info - not only QTY).

  8. is it possible to have a calculated field that shows the total of 2 different pricing tables? for some context, because we cannot set tax rates against the products in the catalog, we cannot rely on our sales team to remember to set it to include/exclude GST, so we have added the two pricing tables. would be great it we could show a Grand Total down the bottom of the two

Hi. Currently, we don't have a direct feature for importing Excel files and aren’t planning on building this into our feature set at this point in time since it doesn’t fit into our current product roadmap. However, we do support creating tables from Excel data.

Here's a quick guide on how to do it:

    1. Copy Tables: You can copy a table, or part of a table, from Office Suite (Office 365 and desktop versions), Google Workspace, or even HTML.
    2. Paste in PandaDoc: Simply paste (Cmd/Ctrl + V) it into a PandaDoc page. This action will create a new PandaDoc table in your template, document, content library item, or form.
    3. Styling Options: You can restore the original styling of the table by selecting 'Source formatting' in the dropdown menu at the lower right corner of the table in PandaDoc.

For copying into a pricing table specifically:

    1. Prepare Your Table: Ensure your…
  13. Have an approval process for when a discount is over a certain percentage - for example, set up logic where if the discount is over 10% then they need to go through an approval process. Linking approvals to a specific field / variable request for my customer in the pricing table for CPQ. The customer can do this in SFDC CPQ but likes the PD interface more and would prefer it be done there so that the manager can review and approve the full document to make sure it is good to send.
