  3. After doc is approved, would be nice to be able to organize docs as approved docs. Be able to filter docs by "approved" within a certain time period.

  4. Very few of our users ever use the PandaDoc to send documents or collect signatures. Most of them, at least as far as I understand, will use the templates to create a document, then just download it, print it out, and deliver it person to collect an in-person signature. From what I can tell, the downloading of documents is not subject to the approval workflow process, regardless of whether the button says “send” or “send for approval.”
So at least as far as I can tell, if we were to set up an approval workflow on a template, that’s not…

  5. Often a client needs to approve a document before it can be sent to their boss (the person signing on behalf of the company).

The "document forwarding & signature forwarding" options are not only very confusing to a lot of clients but also confusing for internal approval flows (i.e. there is a signer appointed to a document that is not eligible to sign on behalf of the company).

  7. The goal is to make it easy to set up a standard process for approving documents by creating a template group that includes "Legal," "Finance," and "Compliance." This group can then be added to any new document or template that needs to go through the approval process.

  9. Client would like a person in the approval group to be able to suggest edits, but still be able to approve the document at the end of the workflow. Current if you're a collaborator you're unable to also approve a document. Instead of listing the same email for collaborator and approval group (and more importantly to eliminate the approval email that goes out) the client would like the collaborator to be able to suggest edits and then approve the document on the spot without further next steps post suggesting edits.

  11. As a second request, I’d love to have multiple approval workflows with ability to send back 1 level and not back to the start of the approval process. For instance, if 1 group is accountable for wording, 1 for legal and 1 for pricing. I don’t want someone adjusting pricing to require everything to start from the beginning again.

  12. After a document goes through the approval process they stay in the "For Approval" block once they have been approved or rejected. It would be nice for them to move to to a Approved block or a Rejected block for visual confirmation of the process being completed instead of them staying in the "For Approval" until they are sent or Re-submitted for Approval.

  13. When certain items in an order form have been changed (for example governing law, payment terms, etc), there is no approval triggered. As a result of this, legal has to review the entire order form all the time. If would be very beneficial when you could trigger an approval workflow when certain text or content is changed. For example, when the payment term is changed from the default (or default options in a dropdown), the approval workflow for approval by Finance is automatically required.

  14. Once a document is approved, lock down ability to edit the document before sending to the client.
Approval is to confirm finalization of the terms on the contract for the client.

  17. It's easy to get confused as to which section you are in the document process (template vs document creation vs approving vs signing). I think this could be fixed by having a different background color or other differentiation for the pages other than the item location in the top left corner.

  19. the below shows an example

Recipient A: fill in the price
Recipient B: fill in the remark
Approver: reject the document due to the price, then recipient A can adjust the price and get approval again
