Document download approval
Very few of our users ever use the PandaDoc to send documents or collect signatures. Most of them, at least as far as I understand, will use the templates to create a document, then just download it, print it out, and deliver it person to collect an in-person signature. From what I can tell, the downloading of documents is not subject to the approval workflow process, regardless of whether the button says “send” or “send for approval.”
So at least as far as I can tell, if we were to set up an approval workflow on a template, that’s not actually going to prevent our users from delivering an unapproved document and that’s a major concern for us. In order for it to be useful, we’re going to need the approval workflow to prevent users from downloading or printing documents without approval as well.
