Ability to create custom automations on the document level
Right now the automations are from the template level, which means you can't customize the documents in each automation based on the client. This causes automations to be useless for those who need to customize the docs. I suggest introducing document-level automations in order to build the docs you need then set up an automation based on those.

update the close date of an opportunity in Salesforce when a contract is signed.
when an envelope was returned as signed and the opportunity updated to close won it would put the close date to that day. This meant our opportunities are always dated the date it was signed.

If we send a contract to be signed and the customer signs it as is, to automate the countersignature from our legal team. If no changes are made (no redlining), they don't need to see it.

Sync changes in variable names (Monday to PandaDoc)
Instead of re-copy and pasting the variable whenever you make some changes like renaming, it's better if they could be synced so no need to copy and paste again.

Add more options to "Change Deal stage in Pipedrive when PandaDoc document status changed"
I would really like another variable called "Sent" to select from on the PandaDoc side of this automation. My Pipeline is set up with a quoting stage and a Negotiations/follow-up stage, and it would be nice if the status could change as soon as the quote is sent, rather than just upon completion or declination.
