This is absolutely vital. We don't want for guest invitations to be possible at all, and the recommendation posited by the support bot of "Educating your team about not inviting external users without authorization." is not an appropriate governance control.
It's crucial for there to exist a means to prevent non-admin users (Member, or with finer control) from inviting members into our user list. For us, this triggers access review controls which should not occur, period.
Upset that we ticked all the "don't allow users" boxes and this can still occur.

We need the ability to disable collaborator functionality in our contract system because it's creating significant friction in our sales process and undermining our immutable workflow intention.
Despite clear instructions to sales representatives not to use the collaborator feature, they continue to use it because the "button is available", leading to situations where prospects receive contracts with collaborator comments that cannot actually be honored or implemented.
This creates a disconnect between prospect expectations and our actual contract terms, as prospects naturally assume that visible collaborator comments represent negotiable elements.
Since we've implemented an immutable workflow for important compliance and legal reasons, having sales reps bypass this process through collaborator features defeats the purpose of our controlled contract management approach.
A simple toggle to disable collaborator access would eliminate this confusion, ensure our workflow integrity is maintained, and prevent prospects from being misled about which contract elements are actually open for discussion or modification.
