Hi. We aren’t planning on building this into our feature set at this point in time since it doesn’t fit into our current product roadmap. Please keep upvoting this idea so we can keep considering it every time we work on our roadmap.

This is very important for this feature to be useful. I like the other comments to include a toggle option so it can be set by document. If the toggle were to be on, when they send for approval, they can also write the email. If the toggler were off, to not auto-send, the creator would be notified when it has been approved so they know to go send.
Honestly, this seems like a minimum requirement for an automated approval flow to be a useful feature. Surprising this has been an outstanding request since 2020.
