After talking with support, this is a current PandaDoc limitation when creating templated documents via a CRM (HubSpot in our case), and it will be considered with enough community support here

Hi. We aren’t planning on building this into our feature set at this point in time since it doesn’t fit into our current product roadmap. Please keep upvoting this idea so we can keep considering it every time we work on our roadmap.

Our team currently has to use an excel sheet to calculate unit pricing before they input into PandaDoc. Would be nice if quote builder had basic unit calculations in doc so the team could just input a budget, and it would spit out the deliverable units. We have a few different unit calculations, but they are simple such as a price per thousand units.

Our entire company and clients would benefit from this as well! Unfortunately to our customers it looks unsophisticated and like we made an error on our contracts. HubSpot is able to convert the date from the API back to US format in the UI, but PandaDoc does not seem capable of this yet.
