[WORKAROUND]
Hi all!
I’m happy to announce that you can now edit an approval workflow at the document level, whenever a document is in draft status. This change could help you in case an original approver is unavailable to perform the action (maybe they’re on vacation) and you need to change the approver without disrupting the approval process. Hi. We aren’t planning on building this into our feature set at this point in time since it doesn’t fit into our current product roadmap. Please keep upvoting this idea so we can keep considering it every time we work on our roadmap.

This would be an outstanding feature to enable. Suppose a document has been drafted and an approver is unexpectedly called away from the office. In that case, there is no option to correct it at the document level, requiring that the entire document be re-drafted in a template with an alternate approval workflow. This is both time-consuming and cumbersome for our team.
