[WORKAROUND]
Hi all!
I’m happy to announce that you can now edit an approval workflow at the document level, whenever a document is in draft status. This change could help you in case an original approver is unavailable to perform the action (maybe they’re on vacation) and you need to change the approver without disrupting the approval process. Here are a few benefits of this new feature: An account admin/manager no longer has to change an approval workflow at the template level A document creator doesn’t need to create a new version of a document once its approval workflow has been changed Making a change to an approval workflow is quick and easy, saving a ton of time and effort for everyone involved Read this Help Center article to learn more about how it works: https://support.pandadoc.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016122334#h_01F2H326V6QVFDF0D8S2VPCE9Z

We especially have the issue in the case someone leaves the company.
A better solution to this would therefore be to have a central approval group manager module.
The main problem for us is that an approver is hardcoded into any document created from a template with an approval flow.
Even though we update the template, that user will still be the only one able to approve the document.
With a central approval group manager (like the role manager in PandaDoc) you'd be able to create and manage groups for all documents where the approval groups have been applied to.
And when something changes - like if someone leaves the company, you won't have to update the approval flow on all templates individually.
