background image work for pages with PDF page break

We have templates with background images. Where there is a lot of text, and a PDF page break is added, we would want a Page Properties on Settings to allow the background image to be carried across to other pages. Currently it automatically expands itself, thus breaking continuity.

Basically, we want it to operate like an image on a Word document.

    100% backing this as an improvement. To have the background image scale without any control in this situation leaves you with only one option - add in page breaks everywhere.

    This destroys the flow of text, and for longer documents turns into a major problem.

    The background image should have an option 'Fixed' or similar, which allows the background image to be fixed to a page, where multi page text doesn't affect the background image size.
