I recently turned to Sugar Support to see if they could help with two issues related to this ticket. Below is their response. It would be nice to see these updates made for SugarCRM users, otherwise we will have to see if DocuSign will better serve our needs.
I see you have filed a few cases in the past with us in regards to issues with the PandaDoc integration.
Please note, that this PandDoc integration is developed by and maintained 100% by PandaDoc. SugarCRM Support has is not very familiar with the integration (basically in name only) and are not able to provide much in the way of troubleshooting and resolving code level issues with external plugins.
In regards to both a field/token value (Contact >Title) not being pulled into the template as well as your inquiry about the PandoDoc Token configuration/Admin page still being in BWC mode vs SideCar.........both of these will require the PandaDoc team to investigate and make changes to as necessary.
On your last note, you had stated
- - Can you please at least find out when Sugar plans to move the PandaDoc tokens into Sidecar UI?Again, this is not something that SugarCRM can perform or impact. The PandaDoc team is responsible for developing their integration to be compatible/displayable in the Sidecar view.
PandaDoc is one of our ISV/Implementation Partners and as such, have access to Developmental resources with SugarCRM to engage with if they have questions about compatibility and integration. I have checked with our ISV Partner Manager here at Sugar to inquire if PandaDoc has reached out to us with any details about these issues you have mentioned and there has been so such out reach to us.
So if PandaDoc is stating they need to work with SugarCRM to further investigate the field value on templates or conversion of the Token menu to Sidecar, they have not done so by engaging with the proper channels of their Partnership with us.
If you have an open/ongoing case with PandaDoc about these issues and have a Case Number from them you can share with us, I can provide that to our Partner Manager here at SugarCRM that can reach out to his Contacts at PandaDoc to see if the issue can be escalated.

I have been asking for this for at least as long as the original poster who suggested this idea in 2022. The data is there, how hard can it be to map it into the proposal?
