Let's say there's an SFDC Opportunity with the "Decision Maker" Opportunity Contact Role. In order to pull the data of this contact role when you create a document from an opportunity, you need to have the same "Decision Maker" role in PandaDoc template and use the corresponding variables "[Decision Maker.FirtName]" , etc. The problem is that you can use those variable only in PandaDoc blocks. The feature request is to be able to use same role variables (without square brackets) in fields ("merge field" field setting).

The feature request can also be useful for other integrations and for non-integration cases (when a document is created from a template regularly)
