Expand scope of condition for approvals beyond document value etc
Expand scope of condition for approvals beyond document value, quote or pricing.
For users who works with wordy contracts lacking in pricing tables or quotes, it would be nice to see new approval conditions which extend beyond the current selection where the conditions can be for example edits to select clauses such as limitation of liability, indemnity etc

Assign Approvers for different teams
Ability to assign approvers for different teams. If there are multiple sets of approvers for different teams, and they need the ability to suggest edits as an approver in documents. Currently, if someone makes a comment, the author has to go in, reopen the document, make the edits, and then there's no tracking that edit was made

Multi-team approval workflow
As a second request, I’d love to have multiple approval workflows with ability to send back 1 level and not back to the start of the approval process. For instance, if 1 group is accountable for wording, 1 for legal and 1 for pricing. I don’t want someone adjusting pricing to require everything to start from the beginning again.

Combine approval + first signer step
Problem: When the final approver is also the first signer, they can’t sign until after a rep sends the document, creating delays and extra handoffs.
Request: Allow an approver who is also a recipient in the signing flow to approve and complete their signature in the same action, or allow post-approval pre-signing before external send.
Value: Faster turnaround, fewer internal steps, clearer accountability.
Acceptance criteria: Optional toggle at template/workflow level; audit trail records both approval and signature events.

Request - Ask for More Information/Documents’ Option in Approval Workflow
Description:
Currently, the PandaDoc approval workflow only allows approvers to approve or reject documents. There is no option to request additional information or supporting documents and route the document back to the requester. We request a feature that allows approvers to:
Ask for more information/documents
Send the document back to the requester
Allow re-upload of supporting files
Resume the approval flow after updates
This will improve control, reduce rejections, and make the approval process more efficient and business-friendly.

Either/Or signing (one-of-many authorized signer)
Title: Either/Or signing (one-of-many authorized signer)
Request: Add an “either/or signer” recipient type so a document can be sent to two (or more) authorized signers, but only one signature is required to complete the document.
Expected behavior:
Sender selects a signer group (e.g., Signer A OR Signer B).
The document completes when any one signer in the group signs.
Once one signer completes, the remaining signer(s) are automatically marked as not required and can no longer sign.
Audit trail/certificate records who signed and that the others were optional.
Optional: ability to restrict the group to specific emails/domains for compliance.
Why…1 voteHi,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your request. We have great news – the option you are looking for already exists. For more information, check the link below:

Prevent requestor self-approval when submitting forms/templates/documents
Currently, if a requestor is also listed as an approver, PandaDoc allows them to sign or approve a document at the time of submission. This behavior effectively bypasses the approval workflow.
This creates a security and compliance risk, since it allows someone to self-approve their own submissions. In regulated or audited environments, this violates separation of duties principles and undermines the integrity of approval processes.

Conditional approvals: notify user other than sender in case the document was automatically approved
Option to set up notifications for a user so they receive an email/notification every time the document is auto-approved based on conditional approvals
