Reasons this is needed:
1. It is quite easy to send the wrong link to the wrong person - that way a customer could sign off the sender's fields like pricing. When a recipient's email is already a pandadoc licensed user it would be very easy for Pandadoc to work out that they already have a login and make that link only accessible to that logged in user.
2. It is also easy for people to forward their links not using the forwarding feature - e.g. the customer forwards the link to their manager to sign. This results in contracts getting esigned by a person who isn't the person in the electronic signature verification. This would make it very hard to prove who signed the document in court and makes the whole electronic signature element rather pointless.
You would still want to make it easy for anyone to fill in and sign documents, but the additional security or checks would be good to make sure the person signing is the intended recipient.

Hi,
Thank you so much for reaching out – this is a great suggestion and we have had other customers asking about this feature as well. While we’re looking into the possibility of developing it, it isn’t on our product roadmap for the next few months. Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your request. We have great news - mass actions with fields is now available!
You can now select multiple fields by pressing Command (on Mac) or Shift (on Windows) on your keyboard while selecting several fields. Selected fields will become framed in blue and can be moved, assigned or deleted all at once.
Learn more about this functionality here.
Mass actions are available to everybody for Fillable Fields, and a similar functionality is being rolled out for Content Blocks. Mass actions for Content Blocks should be available to all within the next few weeks. Stay tuned!Steve Hodson supported this idea ·

This option is really hidden at the moment and hard to find even when you know it is there. I am not sure about document forwarding, but this causes a big problem for signature forwarding where you can get the wrong person on the esignature receipt from the person who actually signed it.
My suggestion would be to have a popup if signature forwarding is enabled on the document so when it is opened every time it tells them who they are signing for and how to forward. They can hide it if they want and it will put a cookie so they don't see it again. If they send their link on to someone else then the new person will get the same message - this time they will see that they are not the person the link was prepared for and can go back tot he person who should have forwarded
