Hi,
Thank you so much for reaching out – this is a great suggestion and we have had other customers asking about this feature as well. While we’re looking into the possibility of developing it, it isn’t on our product roadmap for the next few months. Please feel free to upvote or leave your comment to let us know how and why this functionality is important for you. Thank you!

Hi Valeryia. Thankfully Pandadoc has the ability to send the documents directly rather than having to copy/paste the link into a separate email. For that I utilize saved messages and my entire team does as well.
So currently our saved messages have placeholders for our team for instance "Hi (ADD CUSTOMER NAME HERE), in this document you will find a quote from (ADD INSURANCE CARRIER HERE)"
This is can lead to our clients receiving emails with this text accidentally in it and it takes lots of time for our team members to read through each saved message template and then change out the placeholders for the variables manually.
Thank you for reading this!

It would be really good that have this feature. I would help clients save valuable time.

That's really annoying, can't even pull the receiver's name so we don't have to type that every time?!? Isn't this basic automation? What is so wrong with pulling variables from the document so we can just have it inserted into the Saved Response, I know it only saves 10 seconds each time, but this is the most annoying thing about this program is having to type in the variables each time we send a document into the email body. Please reconsider, this would make so many people happy.

Pretty disappointing. This is a key requirement of ours since we are planning on using this to send hundreds of contract renewals with a handful of email templates. The manual work required if we can't pull variables in jumps from very little to not worth using this platform.

Just got a product idea related to this request:
If the customer will use Saved Messages when sending out the document, it would be really good to have variables instead of typing them every time.

This is a client request. And as per them it would be helpful if this will become available in PD as the send hundreds of document everyday.

Can we use tokens or merge fields in the send document window or subject line with the ActiveCampaign native integration?

This is kind of an odd thing not have, to be honest. We would use the saved message feature a lot more if this feature were present.

Please add the ability to used Variables in email templates. This way, we can use an email template when sending out a document to customers but still tailor it to them with their name and other information unique to them.

On one of our forms - we receive two notifications. One informs us that the signer has completed the form. The second one from Pandadoc, includes the PDF of the form but does not show the signers name. We would like to see the signers name displayed as part of the Subject line of the email containing the PDF.

Add variables to the messages that are sent to the receiver by email, so it will automatically add their name or other info to the message
