Hi,
Thank you so much for reaching out – this is a great suggestion and we have had other customers asking about this feature as well. While we’re looking into the possibility of developing it, it isn’t on our product roadmap for the next few months. Please feel free to upvote or leave your comment to let us know how and why this functionality is important for you. Thank you

as per the client: " ability to lock or restrict who can edit or use templates. So to reiterate:
· I should be able to lock templates whilst in DRAFT so they can’t be used until approved by management
· I should be able to restrict who has access to edit templates (team members could still create documents from active templates, but not edit the template itself)
· At the very least, I would love the ability to export templates in a format that can be imported back into PandaDoc so I wouldn’t have to delete and recreate them"

As per the client: "I am trying to send a form to a client where I know their name and email but would like them to fill in their details for the variable fields so they can then build their own contact card. is this possible?"

as per the client " That said, this feels like a real shortcoming of the product / layout engine. There's some invisible "locking" into place that breaks the re-flow of fields when real-world variable value causes adjustment of the layout -- magically, we learn that some fields in the template are placed RELATIVELY and will re-flow while others apparently have ABSOLUTE placement and will NOT re-flow... but as a user, there's no way to see which is which. IMO, that's something that the PandaDoc product team should fix.

option for OCR
as per client: 1. I want to create the document, not send it, and retrieve the links to send to each signer at a later time. 2. I want to replace unfilled variables with blanks. I know how to do both of these things manually and I know how to create PandaDocs with Zapier in general, but am stuck on incorporating the two above features.
