This is Critical.
Our process is completely broken when clients download the document before completion. It makes more than half of PandaDoc a useless tool for us. Once a document is downloaded, it can be shared to whomever with no tracking, not consent for signatures regarding PI issues, and all of our Automations in PandaDoc are rendered useless. Creating a lot of manual work.

I agree. I would love the ability to embed instructions as a guidance for our internal users on every templates. Some templates follow different protocols and need specific information added.
It would be great if we could embed instructions that appear in the margin of any document created form these templates. Or could be a popup bubble linked to text to help guide our users and adopt the platform more quickly.

Super important. Starting with tables. Fillable Fields should be able to lock to a cell in a table. This would be a massive improvement and a great workaround for needing fillable fields to lock to a string of text in the way that Word allows users to do.
Currently we have questions answered in a table with Radio Buttons (Y/N type questions) but since they can't lock to a table cell, if any text is added, the Radio Button is misaligned with the corresponding question.

This is a must have. It is impossible to manage all of our templates currently. If there is a staff change in our Approval Group. I need to open every document that follows the same approval process and manually update the email on each template.
Having one Approval group saved in Contacts that can be the source of truth would make managing the process incredibly simple.

I don't think this is necessary as all browsers have grammar and spell-checking capabilities built in. However. What would be nice to have is a Find and Replace feature.

This is absolutely Critical. Why would there be a Tag function if we can't find said documents/Content Library by a tag search discovery option.
We must have this in the Document Creation page. When we add a piece of content library. We can't find it using the tags used to define the piece.

Can we also add an export to docx as well for individual Content Library Pieces.
Currently we can only export PDF.

Super confusing to the clients. And it's not even true. You can download the docuement still by selecting "More Actions" > "Download".
This adds no value to the platform and only causes issues with recipients.
All our clients have to share the document with a legal team for review. Every time we are asked to manually download the document for them once they see this faux warning.
Please remove it ASAP.

It's bad GUI. I had to pre-write and save instructions for email templates for our users. All of our documents need reviewal from the client's legal team and the ability to red-line and send back the document. This is however easy to do in PandaDoc, but it's not something that has been intuitive for our clients. There is so much blank space on the left and right margin on a document delivery on a desktop. It would be nice for basic instructions to be included.

Currently I have to create a single automation for each template I have created. I would like to be able to select Multiple Templates to follow one automation. IE. For all our Sales Documents, we need to upload completed documents to our CRM. I have many templates, and I have to write 1 automation for each template. This is very difficult to create and pretty much impossible to manage if a change in our process commences.
I would like the ability to write 1 automation and add as many template to follow the one automation as I need.

Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your request. There’s no way to do that at the moment, but the good news is that we have already started working on that feature, and it will be available in one of our upcoming releases. We will be communicating it through our product newsletter and via an alert inside PandaDoc.

This is Critical. We need to be able to update all Template Settings at once.
Templates should be able to follow default settings, and we should be able to update all of them with one swift motion. Similar to how your Design tab works. I can have a saved settings option and when I make changes, and publish that change, all documents with the Default Design settings update accordingly.
We should be able to update our Templates in the same way through settings. Ie the ability to Download needs to be re-added to my templates. I now have to open each template we have, one-by-one, and make the necessary adjustments.
It would be nice if I could just set default settings, update the default settings, and have all changes apply to the template under those settings.
