Ability to reference Field ID of fillable fields as variables
Being able to reference the input from a fillable field as the value for a Variable via the "Field Id" would allow for more complex functions like being able to do basic math within a document utilizing input from multiple fields. You could also use fillable field input to flow into a pricing table, which would make this even easier to implement.
My personal use case is needing to repurpose existing PDF contracts currently in use, but having the limitation of not being able to insert a pricing table in order to provide totaling, tax/discount calculations, etc from multiple fillable…

Ability to Have More Than One Conditional Logic Rule per Option
It would be extremely helpful when you have Conditional Logic, to have the ability to have more than one rule apply to applicable options. For example, when selecting an option with radio buttons, it prompts the person to fill out a secondary radio button selection based on their first selection. It would be helpful to have a SECOND rule where when the person selects that first option, they ALSO have to fill out the text field.

multiple check boxes mandatory at once
It would be nice to be able to make multiple check boxes mandatory but not all. like a either this box or this box but at least 1 has to be checked to submit. Legal forms we use sometimes ask do you want to "demand speedy trial" or "waive speedy trial" our client needs to pick one but never seem to do it even when i point it out it would be nice to have the option to pick one or the other but at least 1 choice before being able to submit

Fields should tie to and update variables used in document
eg - CompanyName (field) pre-populates with Company.Name (variable) and variable updates when field changes.
PandaDoc's "AI" bot tool gives the below instructions (which are wrong) to do this. But it would be great if this actually worked.

Yes, you can create a field in your PandaDoc template that prepopulates with the Company.Name variable and allows the client to edit it, updating the variable throughout the document. Here's how:
In your template, go to the Variables tab and find the Company.Name variable.
Copy the variable name without square brackets.
Click on a field in your template and select 'Properties' on…1 vote -

Dynamic URL Variable Substitution for Text Links
Objective:
Enable users to dynamically generate URLs with embedded variables, allowing for personalized or context-specific links in PandaDoc documents.Feature Description
This feature allows users to insert a hyperlink in their documents where the URL dynamically substitutes predefined variables. These variables can represent specific data fields such as recipient names, document IDs, or custom fields.Example Use Case:
A user creates a link in a document with the URL:
https://example.com?user={FirstName}&doc={DocumentID}When the document is sent to the recipient, {FirstName} is replaced with the recipient’s first name and {DocumentID} with the unique ID of the document.

Conditionally require fields based on custom variables
Currently, you can only add conditional rules for fields based on dropdown, radio, or checkbox fields contained within the document. I would like to set up a rule that requires signature based on a custom variable that is populated by a smart form.
Our staff members fill out a smart form which generates a registration document for students receiving state financial assistance for a class. If the class is one of our programs that requires a background check, we want the student to sign and authorize the background check on the form, along with signing other acknowledgements.
I tried setting…

Formatting Rules for Variables
Ability to apply capitalization rules within our variables. Example:
The first name starts with a capitalized initial, followed by a normal insertion, and then a capitalized last name.
Later in the document, the insertion and last name should both appear in capital letters.3 votes
