Auto-update templates/CLIs if the item is updated in Catalog
Auto-update templates/CLIs if the item is updated in Catalog
Hi there, thank you for your feature request submitted to PandaDoc! We do appreciate it!
We're excited to let you know that the feature is available with Content Placeholder via “add automatically” mode. This way, whenever you create a document from a Template, it always takes the latest version of a block from Content Library.
Additionally, with the new product catalog, products in pricing tables and quotes will be updated in templates and Content Library Items as soon as you import the updated catalog with a CSV file as described here.

I agree. Editor 1 allowed for this functionality however, Editor 2 does not. The fact that the pricing tables are not hard-linked to the catalog items creates difficulty when trying to update several different templates and pricing tables with numerous catalog items each. It is time-consuming and allows for a greater chance of error.

If you update an item in your catalog, all drafts and templates (that include this item) are refreshed with the updated catalog item. Clients sometimes update just a single item in the catalog, exporting the whole catalog and importing it back is just too many clicks for them

PandaDoc pricing tables, templates, and documents are not hard-linked to the Catalog. The Catalog is the master price list, so in order to mitigate errors amongst our team, it would be great if it automatically adjusted prices throughout our documents. It would be best to have an option to link them all based on SKU#.
