Payment Receipt from PandaDoc

Customer would like to have an option to automatically send payment receipt from PandaDoc to their recipients after paying the document.

Examples of generating receipts would include using our payment gateways such as Stripe, Square, Authorize.Net, PayPal, and QuickBooks Payments.

This is a great suggestion and we have had other customers asking about this feature as well. We’re looking into the possibility of developing it, but it isn’t on our product roadmap for the next few months.     This doesn’t seem like a “feature” to me. Rather, it is critical when offering integrations that allow payments. The receipt doesn’t need to state anything more than a payment was made via PandaDoc for “document name” and the amount of the payment. It would be emailed to the signer. That should keep PD clear of any liability if the payment is later rejected for insufficient funds (like a Stripe bank transfer). Right now, we have create a manual receipt, which kills the time savings of having the payment integrated in PandaDoc.

    This is a necessary feature. We use PandaDoc to save time and we have to log into Stripe, find the payment, generate a receipt and send to the client separately. Lots of extra steps!

    Feature to get a copy of an invoice from payment intergation after the signer paid the charges.

    - will allow the user to get a copy of the invoice after the signer pays the charges.

    Agreed this should be an option. If anyone is interested I made a scenario in integromat that updates the payment intent after successful to add the email to receipt email field and it auto sends the receipt. Just not good you need a middleware to do something so basic.

    This should be an obvious change to make, Since you advertise on Panda doc website that the integration has " Auto-generate invoices", but it doesn't, it just has the total amount being paid in the document, not the actual receipt.

    Brian is right, this should be easy:
    This can be easily done by sending an email address in the "receipt_email" field that is sent from PandaDoc to Stripe. PandaDoc is already sending an email address over, it just needs to duplicate it into this field.

    I'd like to suggest that the recipient is able to download a receipt automatically from Quickbooks or Paypal integrations. It's a hassle for me to do it after the fact in quickbooks and paypal and most of my customers request it.

    so again: Which invoice program takes the complete data from a completed document? Xero, quickbooks? if you can't get a proper invoice from the data of Pandadocs, then you can throw the software in the trash
