Ability to show uploaded images in the document rightaway.

I'm quite shocked that such an important issue was addressed already in 2020 and no response was given.

It seems that PandaDoc is lacking a variable "insert image here", which is a crucial matter in regard to legal issues (for e.g. insurance companies, lawyers etc) as missing photos inside that document: Missing visible evidence.

Example (logistics):
During an inspection of loading of sea containers, a lot of issues need to be checked. We have an inspection form.

For some checks, photos (evidence) are required.

Not as attachments, but inside the form!

Photos of the condition of outside walls, for example (front, left side, back, right side; no dents, no damage).
That need to be declared, and photos should be inserted IN the form as evidence for insurance companies, carriers, lawyers). Can be a crucial matter in case of legal battles.

That option is lacking.

This is in my opinion a huge lack and I hope this feature can be implemented ASAP.

I don’t think it’s a difficult matter. It’s just a feature no one ever thought about.
Almost as important as a signature.

Suggestion:
Variable “Place image”:

1) Click on a “place image” variable and select from photos on an iPad or so

And/or

2) Click on a “place image” variable, get a selection screen
a) “From your photos library"
b) "choose file (jpg, png) from your device” (this option is different from photo library, since jpg files could be saved somewhere outside the photo library)
c) “Open camera” (and user makes a photo and photo will be inserted)

Number 1 would be great. Number 2 (a, b and c) would be absolutely fantastic.

show collected files in the PDF of the completed document

This feature will be very helpful. I have several use cases where we would like recipients to be able to upload an image that shows in the document.

With that, would like to see the ability to either upload or take the picture to be added to the document

Option to have a seperate field that will allow signer to upload pictures

- A filed that will allow signer to add pictures, to the document.

The functionality to have a signer upload an image that appears within a document instead of as an attachment.

Collect files field has option to show the file, like in Ev1. attach files can be viewed

This would be so helpful!
