Please create the ability to indicate what type of user can access the variables function within the templates.
We have recently learned that any user can go into variables and manually change each field, which makes the locking blocks function useless since it can be overridden by a backdoor feature.
Our company would like this locked to Members and Collaborators -

Background on this:
We have integrated PandaDoc with Salesforce and are preparing to launch it within our organization. We leverage the ability to restrict editing of documents so that we can enforce rules and standards on our sales org.
Our documents are derived from combining a PandaDoc template with variables from the Salesforce Opportunity record. We have logic in Salesforce that ensures the values of variables passed to PandaDoc are consistent with the rules enforced by our business (e.g. a discount can not be greater than X dollars).
The problem is that, as far as I can tell, our sales team will be able to edit the values of these variables when creating a document in PandaDoc. This leaves open the possibility that a sales person could modify the variables and violate our sales rules (e.g. give more discount than allowed).
We have already locked down content blocks and pricing tables.
