We have used the linked fields in our larger templates to allow data to flow through the document. We have done this in multiple templates using the same names (patient name, DOB, medical record #, patient phone, etc.). We discovered that when you bundle multiple templates together that the field names don't link across multiple templates and arbitrarily change to new names for each template (patient name, patient name1, patient name2, etc)..
We went through a ton of effort to minimize the amount of data entry and data collection errors with our past eSigning platform by doing this. To not have this functionality is creating a data collection and data integrity issues for us.
