visible (printable) borders for fillable field
Our customers often print out a document before signing, for offline study. On paper, there is no clue that there are checkboxes or radio buttons for our options. Having a box there (checked or not) where the border of the field should be, like on the screen, would make the structure of the document easier to grasp.

There is no viable work-around in any of the complementary PDF editing tools I'm familiar with. The AI generated advice on this regard is essentially impossible.
