Add the ability to skip or remove the Collect Payment step at the document level (new editor)
In the classic editor, we could add or remove payment on a per-document basis directly from the right-hand panel. This gave us the flexibility to decide at the time of creating a document whether payment collection was needed — without having to go back and modify the template every time.
Since the new editor rollout (Project Delta), payment is now controlled exclusively at the template workflow level. If a template has a "Collect Payment" step, every document created from it is forced through that step with no way to skip or remove it on the fly.
This is a significant workflow regression for teams that reuse the same template for different scenarios — some of which require payment and some of which don't. Currently, the only workaround is to maintain duplicate templates (one with payment, one without), or edit the template workflow every single time before creating a document, which is time-consuming and disruptive — especially for larger teams.
A simple on/off toggle at the document level to skip or remove the Collect Payment step, without needing to modify the source template.
