Ability to Remove or Waive Outstanding Signers Post-Send
Now I would like to share a feature request that would significantly improve our experience with PandaDoc and, we believe, provide value to many corporate customers.
In certain document workflows, there are situations where one of the designated signers is either unwilling or unable to sign a document. However, the validity and legal effectiveness of the document are not affected by the absence of that particular signature. Typical examples include:
Board resolutions
Other corporate governance documents where a predefined majority is sufficient for approval
Currently, PandaDoc does not provide a way to either:
Remove a signer after the document has been sent, or
Mark a signer as "signature not required" or "waived."
As a result, the document remains in an incomplete status from PandaDoc's perspective, even though the required majority has been achieved and the document is legally effective. Additionally, this prevents the generation of a fully completed document package, including the final "Certificate of Signature" page.
For our company, the ability to manage signers in such situations would be extremely valuable. We believe that introducing functionality to either remove outstanding signers or formally waive their signatures would not only solve a practical business problem but also represent a meaningful enhancement to the PandaDoc platform for many organizations handling corporate governance and approval processes.
We would greatly appreciate it if your product team could evaluate this feature request for future development."
