  1. When manually updating a document status and adding a note to why it was closed, it would be nice to have the note somewhere on the document. Right now nothing shows up on the document when it is closed out and a pdf sent to both myself and the customer. Not having the reasoning why this was closed out and a signature not collected make me have to go back into PandaDoc to track this down. It would be nice to have it more visible right from the dashboard and/or directly on the document in lieu of the signature certificate…

  2. Currently Pandadoc quotes are clunky - relies on remembering all your quotations. Follow up is key to understand the client has not had issues with receiving the quotation etc...

    If Pandadoc is really serious about improving this space a followup sequence needs to be implemented i.e. suggest 3 follows 1st is courtesy, 2nd is there anything we can do to move the sale along, 3rd is we're here for you but if you are not currently able to follow through please get in touch with us when you are ready.   3. Could there be an option to attach documents in private, such as how commenting works?

    Sometimes with our contracts we would like to send supporting documents to internal stakeholders with private information to be shared with them in order to approve the document or complete their part in the signing order.

    Currently we can't do this. If supporting documets need to be attached, they can be viewed by all recipients, including external stakeholders who should not be able to view.

    When we send a document through PandaDoc we have to manually send an additional email with the supporting documentation.

  4. When filtering documents by status, make a buulk reminder button when selecting all docs and also a quick reminder button when clicking the 3 dots on the right of each doc

  5. Smart folders would be more useful (or at least equally as useful) as the "move to folder" automation. Smart folders could automatically sort documents into folders by status. They could also sort documents by tags. Ideally, the document library would be able to be viewed in multiple manners, similarly to the way Gmail uses tags or Outlook uses smart folders. You click on a smart folder, and all of the items that meet the criteria of the smart folder appear, even though the items are not physically located in the smart folder. In the "My documents" section, you can see the creation date on the list, but if you use the search feature, it only shows you the "modified date" and doesn't give you the option to see the created date. i wouldn't mind a whole separate option for it or still being able to change the modified date column to the created date column. Sometimes we are looking for patterns with templates failing or getting stuck in draft from our API and it's more helpful to see the created date then it is the modified date.

  7. Be able to run a report that shows the median Total Time Spent by Template. right now we just have "sent to completed" which could be days, but we want to get a closer number about "how long did it take for them to fill out this bundle". It seems like the "Total Time Spent" analytics on a particular document is on an individual document level, but not reflected in the Reporting section

  10. We are trying to review the comments and suggestions on a completed document in order to improve our templates and processes. We can see the history of comments, but they are separate from the document so we don't know where those comments were made. I know we can restore previous versions of a document, but we don't want to create a duplicate for every document when reviewing. Is there any way to see the history of comments/suggestions after a document is completed?

  12. API document by status - drilldown to identify the document for follow up
    API document analytics
    Report to be auto- emailed as a flag (set time to email the report - daily, weekly, monthly)
    example: how many documents are opened but not complete
    example: data on time it's been open and not signed/completed.

  14. Option to send an SMS (text) reminder if a recipient's phone number has been changed. For example, if the reminder failed to send because the phone number was entered incorrectly, you need to wait 24 hours to change the phone number and send the reminder again, even if the first reminder didn't go through.

  16. Option disable the "Send" button on documents created from certain templates. The flow is the following:
    When a representative creates a document from a template and the approval flow is disabled, they should not be able to send the document immediately. Instead, the document can only be sent via an API call after it has been approved by the external approval flow.

  19. Option in the Pandadoc to null the signed letter: replace a signed document with a new one. The existing signed documents should be in the bottom with X line.
    This functionality should allow users to update or replace a signed document while providing clear visibility of the previous version within the new one.
