Centralized variable management
What we see happening over time is that we create multiple templates with roughly the same content. Updating these templates is a time consuming endeavor because there is no way we can centrally manage/update the content.
How cool would it be if there would be a central page in settings called "Variables" where
You can create variables with set content.
reuse these variables across all your docs.
A variable could also be an image or a piece of content library contentIt is a simple yet efficient idea that would make our lives a lot easier.

Master setting: Universal set of variables for all templates and CLIs
The ability to set your custom variables at the account level and their default values at the account level would be fantastic.
If we have the current hourly pricing trickled through out multiple documents, its a pain to update, but if we have the variable in the document and then can update the price tied to that variable, that makes it way easier.

Better align inserted fields with written text
Despite the useful guide lines that help users align inserted fields, (1) fields don't always show as aligned when converted to pdf, so it's not WYSIWYG. Another problem is that (2) in practice, fields are difficult or impossible to fully align with written document text! This results in an unprofessional-looking and hard-to-read final document. And (3) if a user has created a table and deletes or add a row, the text will go away but not the inserted fields or checkboxes, which causes everything in the table to misalign.

Make fields conditionally (non-) required if previous field is filled out.
Depending if a Text Field is filled out allow it to trigger to another Text Field to not require to filled out.
For example: if a SSN Text field is filled in, the following fillable field of the EIN number would then trigger to turn off the required.
