  1. Add the ability to skip or remove the Collect Payment step at the document level (new editor)

    In the classic editor, we could add or remove payment on a per-document basis directly from the right-hand panel. This gave us the flexibility to decide at the time of creating a document whether payment collection was needed — without having to go back and modify the template every time.

    Since the new editor rollout, payment is now controlled exclusively at the template workflow level. If a template has a "Collect Payment" step, every document created from it is forced through that step with no way to skip or remove it on the fly.

    This is a significant workflow regression…

  2. Require email verification before viewing a document via public link to accurately track viewers

    Currently, when a document is sent to a recipient via PandaDoc, anyone who opens the public recipient link - including internal team members - is recorded as a view in document analytics. There is no way to distinguish between an external recipient viewing the document and an internal employee accidentally clicking the same link.
    The requested feature: when a user clicks a document's public link, PandaDoc should prompt them to enter their email address before granting access. This would allow PandaDoc to:

    Accurately identify who viewed the document
    Distinguish internal (team member) views from external (recipient) views
    Optionally exclude known…

  3. Line Item-Based Conditional Approvals in Workflows

    Allow approval workflows to conditionally route documents based on specific line items (SKUs, product names, etc.) included in a Pricing Table or Quote Builder.

  4. Remove payments in a document level

    On the new editor, you are only able to remove payments on a template level. Please add back the functionality to remove it on an individual basis on a document level.

  6. Interface

    Please go back to the old interface and layout. The new interface and layout make's no sense. Trying to make it sleek and modern when there was nothing wrong with the old interface. Please go back and get rid of this new one. You also have to open the Template to create a document now, instead of being able to hover over the template and create a document.

  7. improve the email notification when a collaborator is invited.

    When a collaborator is invited, the email notification should display the name of the document they are invited to collaborate on, rather than showing the workspace name.

  8. Restrict access to the documents by using Grant access button

    The client's feedback:

    We’ve reviewed the setting you mentioned regarding access requests, and we understand that disabling it can prevent users from requesting access. However, this does not address the core issue we reported.

    To clarify again: when a user requests access to a document and we receive the email notification, simply clicking on the document link in the email (not the “Grant Access” button) automatically grants the requester guest access to our account. This is happening without any explicit approval or confirmation from our side.

    This behavior represents a significant security flaw, as access should only be granted when…

  10. Ability to switch between on demand and bring your own notary sessions.

    Option in notary dashboard to switch between on demand and bring your own notary sessions. Currently have to manage this via separate workspaces and emails which is challenging but needed as their users while sometimes doing BYON, also on occasion need to launch an on demand session.

  12. Be able to search/add recipients by contact name instead of only email

    When we are assigning signature blocks the searchability by name does NOT work. So we are having the issue of people typing in a name, assuming the contact does not exists, then adding in a new contact (which tends to be wrong) and sometimes that data being pushed into the contact list and editing our contacts.

  16. 50% deposit option

    It would be great to have an option for the customer to pay a 50% deposit and then retain the CC info to bill the remaining balance with the click of a button when we arrive on the job site. Instead of sending them an invoice later and hoping that they pay.

  20. Approval process linked to pricing table variables

    Have an approval process for when a discount is over a certain percentage - for example, set up logic where if the discount is over 10% then they need to go through an approval process. Linking approvals to a specific field / variable request for my customer in the pricing table for CPQ. The customer can do this in SFDC CPQ but likes the PD interface more and would prefer it be done there so that the manager can review and approve the full document to make sure it is good to send.
