Hi, we have good news! We have already started working on this feature, and it will be available in one of our upcoming releases. We will be communicating it through our product newsletter and via a notification inside PandaDoc.

There is another idea for page number variables (Proposify does it this way) that could just be put onto slides (ex. in a footer) and incorporated into the overall design.

An error occurred while saving the comment Dov Rosenberg commentedThis would be incredibly helpful, as it would let us format them the way we want. Currently, we have to plan page footers around the way the page numbers will be added, which can cause sub-optimal design.

An error occurred while saving the comment Dov Rosenberg commentedFor use cases where content locking doesn't work because some changes are allowed, it would be very helpful for approvers to be able to quickly see which sections were edited manually rather than having to re-read the whole thing.

Hi,
Thank you so much for reaching out – this is a great suggestion and we have had other customers asking about this feature as well. While we’re looking into the possibility of developing it, it isn’t on our product roadmap for the next few months. Please feel free to upvote or leave your comment to let us know how and why this functionality is important for you. Thank you!

Hi. We aren’t planning on building this into our feature set at this point in time since it doesn’t fit into our current product roadmap. Please keep upvoting this idea so we can keep considering it every time we work on our roadmap.

I'd add to this... We have documents with lots of text (ex. legal documents, or statements of work with language for various products) that need to be numbered (outline style) but each of which may or may not be included in any particular document. If we want to keep the content in the content library and add it as needed, we have to manually number it all.
