1. Add Watermark Positioning Controls to PandaDoc

   Currently, PandaDoc allows users to customize several watermark properties—such as font size, opacity, text, and color—which is incredibly helpful. However, there is no option to control the positioning of the watermark on the document. This limitation has led to numerous customer complaints, particularly when the watermark obscures critical content like signatures, pricing tables, or legal clauses.

   We propose adding a simple yet powerful enhancement: the ability to choose watermark positioning. Even a basic set of options—such as top, bottom, or diagonal—would provide users with the flexibility to ensure watermarks do not interfere with document readability or layout.

   Why this matters:

   Improves document clarity and professionalism.
   Reduces customer frustration and support tickets.
   Aligns with customization capabilities already offered for other watermark attributes.

   Question: Is there currently any undocumented method or workaround to control watermark positioning? If not, we strongly recommend this feature be added to the roadmap.

3. Text content placeholders for templates

   Problem

   We need to send quite a lot of information from our webshop to Pandadoc:

   • including short values, like numbers or a couple of symbols
   • but also lists or just formatted text

   This is currently not possible(?) with Pandadoc, as the only way for "dynamic" data are variables. But these are far away from user-friendly...

   • don't allowed formatted text, even not simple one, like strong text.
   • are only really useful for short texts, but we also send paragraphs or long texts.

   → we are currently working with about 100+ variables to be able to have some kind of "decent" layout.
   But in most cased the variables aren't even filled and send, and then have to be removed again by an operator...

   Proposed solution

   • Add something like a "template text block", which just can be replaced with arbitrary rich text content and will be converted to normal text block in a final document.
   • Within the template, it should be possible to set a placeholder / default text, which just gets replaced or be converted to the content of the normal text block (if there is non send)

4. Webhook for Signer Changes Due to Document Forwarding

   Introduce a webhook or event trigger that notifies when the signer URL changes due to recipient-forwarding behavior - i.e., when a document is forwarded, the new signer replaces the original, and the signer URL is updated. This would allow clients to keep signer tracking accurate and up-to-date in their systems.

6. PandaDoc API: Ability to create catalog categories from api

   Ability to create catalog categories from api.
   Right now the only way to create Catalog categories in bulk is by uploading a csv with catalog items which already have a category assigned (along with their sub-categories).
   Would love to do this via api :)
