Autofill Repeating Fields (Fields Mirroring / Variable and Field sync)
Fill Out Field Once & Auto-populate Across All Instances
Hi there 👋
I'm excited to share that Linked Fields 🔗 functionality has reached the General Availability release and is now available on all plans with no additional costs.
Linked Fields make it easier for your recipients to fill in required fields with repeated data. Once they enter the required information, they won’t need to re-enter it elsewhere — it will be replicated in all linked fields.
To link a field, start by selecting it, then choose "Copy and link field" in the Properties section on the right panel or in the floating panel. The linked field will have the same settings and field assignment. You can drag and drop the copied field wherever you’d like. Alternatively, you can link fields by copy-pasting or entering a field ID value from one field to another.
For more information, please visit our Help Center.
If you have any feedback or suggestions regarding this functionality, please message me back.

Many thanks for that function, it helps us a lot especially four our sales team it reduces their workload.
Wo be nice to have the possibility to change the text in the copied field after to another if neccessary. So as function, just the first field overules the second, but the second/third/etc.. can not overrule the 1st field.

Hi, I would like to have this enrolled please

if this function will get implemented, please do it like that. If one filed was mirriroing to second, third,... field, then it should be possible after, to change the second or third filed manually without that they are changing all together again.

We have so many contracts/NDA which include a herein referred to as: "-" it would be incredibly timesaving if these could just auto-populate in all related fields once the original field is filled out by the signee.
variables should auto populate after filling out the related fillable fields
when the EE puts their first and last, DOB, SSN, PN on the first doc that asks for it..any other fields asking for the same info within the pkg should be able to pull the info so the EE is not having to complete the same info over and over again

I really think being able to create custom fields is important. Every document I send is different and I have to edit fields for every document I send and it is very time consuming.
This feels like table stakes

I'm using PandaDoc for a year, and this feature is absolutely critical to me.
Lot of clients are complaining because of lack of such a feature.
Also can avoid mistakes related to data entry (i.e. Sign date, when repeated)
Can improve a lot the User Experience when signing, hope you can deploy it as soon as possible!

I have a 6k+ + deal wanting this feature right now. This could open us up for lots of opportunities, especially in the insurance industry

It will make the signer experience much better
once a person enter a value in the text box it copies into other fields that need that same text

Have a text field that can automatically be set to fill with certain text (like signers name) when filled out.
I want the customer to fill out the name of their company and it should show up 3 times on the document
Auto place icons for multiple pages and name icon must be included and are useful for multiple documents to sign at once.

This is one of the biggest reasons we would consider switching to another provider. Please make this feature asap so that we can stay with PandaDoc, because most of the system is very user-friendly!

Would be useful to be able to assign a field and copy it throughout the document so that a signer doesn't need to fill out the same thing multiple times.
