Enable validation of field values
When document sender and recipients fill out the fields, they have to enter the information that matches a pattern you specify. For example, if a field is meant for an email, PandaDoc will check the user input to make sure the field appears as completed only when the input looks like a valid email.

would love this, would love to see it done by pattern, but also by number of characters, or make sure a number is a number, text is text, and if you need a decimal with a certain number of following digits.

set what type of values can be set on fields. Example, customer only wants Fields to be numeric

Restrict fields to numeric only to avoid innacurate info when it come to collecting recipient's data, such as zip codes and phone numbers.

Fields modifications:
1. Set the format for fields ( for example, only numeric);
2. Set the limits for characters (for example, 9 characters);
3. Set the connection between fields (so if in fields A the client selects something, field B provides particular options). -
The option to add validation to TextFields on a Document (i.e. alphanumerics, regex etc).

Make it so that text fields can be customized to only accept numbers, or not allow special characters.
