Hi. We aren’t planning on building this into our feature set at this point in time since it doesn’t fit into our current product roadmap. Please keep upvoting this idea so we can keep considering it every time we work on our roadmap.

This is massively important to me. PandaDoc has stripped out the CSS advanced editing and stripped out this feature in Ev2 which both really limit the ability to create an upscale feel. I'd say this is pretty foolish of you as this, in particular, was the ONE visual advantage PandaDoc had over Qwilr which is a much more beautiful solution overall.
I can see this has been a suggestion since 2020....so you have no plans to fix it. I'll have to factor this in my decisions to use or recommend this product.

When you forced the latest upgrade, the ability to change the background surrounding the proposal online was removed. This was one of the best features to choose images that speak to the brand that you are pitching. It has been replaced with a background behind text which look very bad most of the time. Please bring back this feature.

Availability to set the background that shows up behind your document in EV2 (previously was possible in EV1)

We really miss the option of adding a photo to the background. In our business, that background really added a lot. See the uploaded screenshot.

Add an image or color to the editor and signing view background when viewing documents. Similar to the theme settings in Ev1.
