Break numbering in text, to continue from the other point in the document. Choose a number from which a numbered list starts.
- Add ability to continue ordered lists with interruptions
Hi,
Thank you so much for reaching out – that is a great suggestion and we have had other customers asking about this feature as well. While we’re looking into the possibility of developing it – it isn’t on our product roadmap for the next few months. Please feel free to upvote or leave your comment to let us know how and why this functionality is important for you. Thank you

Either this feature is implemented, or the ability to embed images and tables in an inline manner instead of as a block element.
The issue we have is that we are writing a contract and need to add a table in one of the clauses.
This interrupts the numbering and we can’t work out how to fix this. -

Are there any updates to this? This feature is absolutely critical for contract drafting.

We really need to be able to break/continue numbering across blocks and pages. It is very common for a document to have numbers and they shouldn't have to start at 1 each time (which kind of defeats the point of numbering things).

what a joke that Pandadoc has not fixed this yet. Critical for contracts. I will not renew my subscription unless this gets fixed.

We need exactly what "Guy" commented, too:
"PLEASE, I need to use numbered lists and I can't if they break at every new block. I need to use them for a contract but I also need to add headings and page breaks between sections, so the numbers need to continue down through the document and not restart at 1 again and again. I simply cannot work with the current lists.
At the very least please allow us to choose to start any list at a specific number, instead of always 1, say '7' for a given block of text - that way we can create a sort of manual work around in the meantime...
But, of course, the end goal should be that it works automatically across all blocks, I just figure that is slightly harder to implement (quickly)."

Number listing should have the option to continue from one text block to another

We regularly add additional addendums and other things in the middle of agreements and this would be very valuable.

if the text is too long to fit on one page, allow the auto numbering to continue onto the next page without having to rely on the automatic page break feature, which tends to break a bullet point in the middle of a sentence and looks very unprofessional

Massive imporvement needed to paragraph numbering. Need to be able to change betweeen numbers and letter, need to be able to add headings and paragraphs under a number, need to be able to change the number that a list starts at.

adding a new text block restarts the numbering, make it global for the document instead?

Same request.
"If we have multiple points in a document, we give them a serial number. When we try to continue the serial numbers to the next page, that doesn’t happen. Instead it start’s from 1 again. What can we do to solve this issue".

The Numbered List function is a bit limited when you have to change between A, I, II, B or 1.12 within the same block.
If I wanted to do:a.
I.
II.
b.The number List function wont let you as it resets b to a

Right now, when starting a new text block, the numbering starts over again at 1.
