All our documents are sent through the API so our sales teams don't have access to edit these documents on the fly, this is intentional. The time zone issue came up came up as critical on Dec 31st, 2024 when we had customers signing our agreement for solar power installation and the date of the contract was Jan. 1, 2025. The impact of this is in relation to the solar tax credit that customers can receive for having solar installed on their home and taxes are based on annual finances.
Technically, you could pull up the Certificate on the last page to prove that it was signed in the correct time for your given time zone, however, this is not convenient for a customer or rep to need to explain/understand at the time of signing.

We have clients in legal services that need the document to show today's date, but if they send the document in the evening, it will show as the next day (-4 to -8 UTC). Have to do a manual entry of the date at this point.

I need to be able to show the time zone I'm in on my documents. Definitely critical.

This is really important...I generated a doc with auto date creation and it showed up next day date because of UTC timing...that's ridiculous.
How can it be legal valid agreement.
Client won't care what time zone PANDADOC has setup as their normal settings.

Doing a contract later in the today I prepared a contract dated as of today (in the Pacific Standard time) and the system created the document as of tomorrow. Clients don't understand the inconsistency. In this day and age of technology that shouldn't be an issue we have to discuss with our clients and it makes the program look flawed.

To facilitates clients living in different Time Zone, we need to create an additional option to select our own time zone by changing the existing time zone which appears by default & which does not correspond to location where the person actually resides. This will show true status of person where the document was actually signed.

When Exporting Report CSV, allow for time zone changes. Right now, it captures UTC time, but this is inconvenient for someone on US EST.

There should be a setting somewhere that we can set the timezone accrediting to the customer's location
