Use custom variables/fields in forms
Availability to use custom variables for the forms (at the moment only role variables can be used)
Hi,
Good news: we have already implemented this feature, and it's now ready for Early Access within our New Forms. If you'd like to test it, please reach out to john.koenig@pandadoc.com.

For example, you have the custom variable named Registration number and you would like to have the option to let your client fill in that info on the authorization form when they opened your form, so the information will be auto-populated into that custom variable in your document.

Hi Forms are amazing, which in some instances can replace our existing automation using multiple apps (eg. Typeform and Hubspot, and Zapiers)... One thing I noticed, is the signer's company name and ACN are NOT default fields that any invited participant can fill up in the 'form fill up' interface, but only as a 'fillable' fileds inside the document. I like to point out that in Australia, under Corporations Act, Section 127, any company directors can sign a legal documents without needed a witness. So in the business environment, majority of documents between companies are using this rule, so if you can include two fields to be default fields for the signer to fill up, being [signer company name] and [signer company ACN], it will make PandaDoc from a 'great product' to a 'must-have product' for every company.
Section 127(1) provides that a company can execute a document without a common seal if it is signed by: two directors of the company; a director and company secretary; or. for a proprietary company that has a sole director who is also the sole secretary – that sole director or secretary.
