Toggle to add/remove permission to print document before sending through PandaDoc
most of our users prefer to create their documents, then download them and/or print them out instead of sending them out through PandaDoc or presenting them digitally in person. The problem there is that, even with an approval rule in place, it appears that users can still just create their document and download it, which would allow them to completely circumvent the approval process. That’s obviously a huge liability for us, which is why we’ve not made this particular service template available to anybody outside of our master workspace (which only very specific people can currently access). We were hoping to open this template up to everyone with the caveat that it must go through approvals before it can be sent to a customer, however with most of our users already downloading documents anyway, the approval workflow doesn’t seem like it would accomplish much of anything for us.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your request. We have great news – the option you are looking for already exists. You can create a custom role and disable the permission for a user to download their own documents.
