Ability to import information from Excel to pricing tables
Ability to import information from Excel to pricing tables
Hi. Currently, we don't have a direct feature for importing Excel files and aren’t planning on building this into our feature set at this point in time since it doesn’t fit into our current product roadmap. However, we do support creating tables from Excel data.Â
Here's a quick guide on how to do it:
- Copy Tables: You can copy a table, or part of a table, from Office Suite (Office 365 and desktop versions), Google Workspace, or even HTML.
- Paste in PandaDoc: Simply paste (Cmd/Ctrl + V) it into a PandaDoc page. This action will create a new PandaDoc table in your template, document, content library item, or form.
- Styling Options: You can restore the original styling of the table by selecting 'Source formatting' in the dropdown menu at the lower right corner of the table in PandaDoc.
For copying into a pricing table specifically:
- Prepare Your Table: Ensure your pricing table in PandaDoc has enough rows and columns to accommodate the data you're copying.
- Select and Paste: After copying the table, select the desired cells in your pricing table (they will highlight in green), then paste your data.
Please note, the original formatting from Excel won't be preserved in the pricing table.
Please keep upvoting this idea so we can keep considering it every time we work on our roadmap. Should you come across any other ideas that suit your business needs, don’t hesitate to give them an upvote!
