Won't continue trial subscription because of this lack of functionality

This definitely needs to be addressed. I think there is plenty of support here for this feature. I'd like to hear a logical explanation as to why such a simple request isn't worth even being a planned feature.

This is an easy solve and frequent in the event of husband/wives and older couples.

It's worth noting that Docusign can do this at all levels.

Previous messages advise that this is on the roadmap since 2023 and has been identified as an issue since 2020. Surely this is an easy fix to modify the logic to use the role, as opposed to an email address for control. Other than managing issue by votes, please consider an immediate review of this issue. We often require a primary signer to sign under Power of Attorney for a secondary signer.

This should be an available feature for all paid subscriptions, not just enterprise.

This causes a problem quite a bit of the time. Will try to get my company to switch vendors if not fixed soon.

Necessary for our older clients that share an email - do we have a status update on this?

  • Joseph Tenney commented  ·

This is a must. we get around it now by adding +1 just before the @ symbol. but this sometimes causes spam filters to quarantine the message so it makes delivery unreliable.

I am immediately getting a refund and going to cancel. THIS NEEDS TO BE MENTIONED ON THE WEBSITE OR ITS A SCAM. docusing, hellosign and every other software signature platform allows you to use 1 email address for 2 clients. this is absuletly ridiculously that panda docs charges the same price but has this crucial feature missing!!!!! RIP OFF.

is there a way to send a document to two people who share the same email address?

  • Brooke commented  ·

I've been reviewing software options and this issue is critical enough to make me choose docusign over Panda Doc. Most of my tax clients share an email so for signing of documents in my business this is not negotiable.

Customer StephanieF@thirahealth.com is in great need of ability to have two people assigned to same email address. They have several patient forms they use and this is a common occurrence. They mentioned that this was possible in DocuSign. Highly needed within PandaDoc

Weirdly enough, it also seems as if we cannot even have let's say 3 signers from 3 different email addresses, the moment you add the first recipient he/she becomes the signer by default, and it's not possible to add other signers within the same document, they can only be put in CC. I would need the possibility to at least decide if a recipient should or shouldn't be a signer of the document sent to all recipients at the same time.

  • Tristan Taylor commented  ·

Critical. We have multiple clients (couples) who share personal email addresses. PandaDocs needs an option to identify recipients via name (unique) and actual signature.

  • Michael Angelo Miguel commented  ·

Ability for recipients to share 1 email address. Can assign signature fields to 2 contacts with the same email address at the same time.

Allow contacts to have the same email address if the name is different.

Same here, need something like this for our clients with no email address, but can get access help from a caregiver or family member.

Slows down the sales process for our team to have to assign form fields to a specific user. The best option would be to allow "Any External Party" for form fields.
