I agree it is critical that the arrow should take a user to the optional field. It will be missed completely if not

I want to add that currently the unrequired fields are all too often ignored as they are invisible to the person filling out the forms. There should be some visual cue to indicate unrequired fields if not being at minimum able to <tab> through.

When there are required fields in the document, there is a walkthrough in PandaDoc which highlights all the fields that need to be filled in (You have X required field(s) to fill out)
There would be a useful option to have those walkthroughs for all the documents and all the users - no matter if the fields are required or not, so that they cannot be missed at any time.

Is this going to be corrected? We can lose very important information because of this. For example, we can't put a requirement for fields asking for a social security number, because they also could have a TIN for their business. But, these are important fields. Maybe this could be an option instead of requirement? Asking for consideration please.

When a recipient is signing a document, the prompt only takes them to each of the required fields vs every single field including optional ones.

Right now, when a recipient is moving through a document, the yellow arrow will skip over fields that are not required. This request is for that yellow arrow to not skip over the optional fields.

Making certain things "required" can cause liability for the sender, however, the reader often misses non-required things like check-boxes. This information can be imperative to the document (check a box), but not required, in that a reader may not be checking ALL boxes.

When all fields are optional they are a hard to see grey. It would be nice if they were colored, even when all were set to optional

For longer applications in PandaDoc it would be a better user experience if you could turn on tabbing to both required and optional fields.
