[WORKAROUND]
Hi all!
I’m happy to announce that you can now edit an approval workflow at the document level, whenever a document is in draft status. This change could help you in case an original approver is unavailable to perform the action (maybe they’re on vacation) and you need to change the approver without disrupting the approval process. Hello,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback. While we currently don’t offer this feature, there are a few alternatives that exist to help achieve the desired result:
- Create a document from the desired template and use that document to create a Form (workaround for this is in the comments)
- When clicking 'Create form', choose the desired template

Would like to set up approvals based off of what team someone is on as well as what variables are pulled from the CRM into a document. For example, if someone from the Sales team can/should be exempt from the approval process set up because they are a manager or leadership position.
