Autofill Repeating Fields (Fields Mirroring / Variable and Field sync)
Fill Out Field Once & Auto-populate Across All Instances
Hi there đŸ‘‹
I'm excited to share that Linked Fields đŸ”— functionality has reached the General Availability release and is now available on all plans with no additional costs.
Linked Fields make it easier for your recipients to fill in required fields with repeated data. Once they enter the required information, they won’t need to re-enter it elsewhere — it will be replicated in all linked fields.
To link a field, start by selecting it, then choose "Copy and link field" in the Properties section on the right panel or in the floating panel. The linked field will have the same settings and field assignment. You can drag and drop the copied field wherever you’d like. Alternatively, you can link fields by copy-pasting or entering a field ID value from one field to another.
For more information, please visit our Help Center.
If you have any feedback or suggestions regarding this functionality, please message me back.

Having the option for clients to enter their name and address as a variable would be amazing! Gathering all client information before sending the documents is not always realistic and very time consuming.

This is utterly vital to speeding up contract creation and eliminating repetitive data entry! I couldn't believe this isn't possible with PandaDoc. Would urge you to deliver this functionality asap.

Having this functionality for use in templates would be really a great addition as well...having the ability to add a field at the template level and have option for all fields to be assigned to one particular role without assigning each one specifically.

This is an absolutely critical feature for our business. So much so it's a deal breaker. Please add this feature asap!

So please, make this upgrade ASAP.

For conditional fields, if Field A is filled in with a certain answer, Field B can automatically be filled. Use case: Customer wants to have a dropdown field where a manager is selected (Field A), then they want their job title to automatically fill in the next field (Field B).

Create a field that will get the value from another field. Into my template

An alternative to this would be to have variables available to signers.

If a checkbox is added to a form, it should have a variable on a template. If the user fills out an online form, it would be great if that info would transfer into the contract document automatically

Instead of recipients having to re-fill in fields with the same information (like fields for name, for example) -- can they be auto-filled.

Let's say in a contract, I ask the company name as a text field. I add the text field, and put company name as a placeholder. However, this company name may appear multiple times in the contract, and I would like to populate the subsequent appearances of company name with the first text field input. Because as it is now, every time it appears, since a text field is not a variable, the client has to fill it in again.

This should be a must and a priority to develop.
Really poor customer experience without this feature!
