We really need this. We tried to workaround it by setting a text block and adding negative padding to move it over the header, to create a different p1, but the process of exporting to PDF results in this being hidden, despite the header being set to transparent. Really need this basic function please!!!

The feature is to have one Header & Footer for the first page, and the rest of the pages will have a different Header & Footer throughout the document.
This is super important for the document that gets generated for signing from our org.
When can we expect this to be released?
This is a basic feature which has been there on MS Word, Google Docs etc. for a very long time. -

Rename "Page Properties" to "Section Properties". Then one section could span across multiple pages, such as when the text means a PDF page break is shown - better would be automatically create a new page within that "section". Then allow each section to have distinct properties like images, footer, header etc.

Definitely, Headers within sections (bounded by Cover pages) would be a good start (which effectively defines the "section" you are in.
Or have a page level setting to switch it on/off.. or select from a list of options / or define a new option...and save it...
