Ability to Zoom-in and Zoom-out on document with the help of built-in feature
When signing a document the entire page zoom's and top and bottom action bars are lost. Exception would be to zoom only the document so the call to action bars are kept.
We wanted to share an update regarding zooming in or out of the document. After careful consideration and further analysis of the idea, we have adjusted its status to "Not Planned."
This change allows us to further explore the feasibility and impact of this and other requested enhancements, ensuring that any updates we introduce are in the best interest of our users and align with our platform's long-term vision.
We appreciate your understanding.

This is a big concern for us, as some of our clients have less-than-perfect eyesight and struggle to read documents as they are currently presented. Implementing a simple +/- zoom button would allow them to zoom in and out easily, making the documents more comfortable to read. Zooming could be implemented using the browser's native API, so no complex document scaling required.
Given that many users may not know how to use the browser's native zoom controls, implementing clearly visible zoom options would greatly enhance accessibility. This feature would make PandaDoc much more user-friendly for those with visual impairments and align with accessibility best practices, ensuring that all users can interact with documents comfortably.
According to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), which are frequently referenced for ADA compliance (Americans with Disabilities Act) , it is recommended that users be able to resize text up to 200% without loss of functionality or content. Adding zoom controls would help meet these guidelines, improving overall accessibility and user satisfaction.
Since PandaDoc already complies with GDPR, SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, ESIGN/UETA, and FERPA, extending compliance to ADA requirements would be a natural complement to these standards. The good news is, adding this functionality would be fairly simple, as controlling the browser's zoom can easily be controlled with a single line of JavaScript code, apart from the buttons themselves.
At present, I'll either have to continue telling our clients how to zoom in and out with each document, or use another document signing tool for them. I really like PandaDoc so am hoping this feature is added. Thanks!

I would REALLY appreciate this feature being added. Also seeing thumbnails of the pages would be so helpful in understanding the overall layout of a document

Can this be picked up? At least a zoom option to zoom on page width? It's really annoying to zoom the browser which makes everything bigger including buttons menu etc... This is not really professional. Shouldn't be a hard thing to do, since the most simple web apps have this functionality

This is really important. Especially when you work with PDF documents as a base, sometimes the fonts are very small and without the zoom function it's very annoying. YOu can zoom the page with the browser, but then everything is being zoomed in...

We used 1920x1080p wide format presentation documents and also require this feature as others have said. It should be a very simple fix. Please do add this in.
When uploaded its hard to add the fields as its all very small in terms of the screen layout. It would be nice to be able to zoom into the document. If I use the default browser zoom, it zooms in the whole page including the controls which doesn't help.

we can currently zoom in from our PC controls, but then you can't see the call to action bar. i'm surprised this doesn't exist already within pandadoc

Ability to Zoom in on documents or templates would be great! Not just browser zoom.
