Salesforce true 2 way sync
When a PandaDoc pricing table is updated Opportunity Products in Salesforce are updated automatically.
Hi,
We have great news – the feature you requested to update Opportunity Products in Salesforce when a PandaDoc pricing table is updated is already available. We've also released more improvements and 2-way sync capabilities. Here are some of them:
- Update Salesforce opportunity products whenever a document’s status is updated
- Update Opportunity Products when PandaDoc pricing table or quote builder is updated
- Update a document with field values from Salesforce after the document has been created
- Control Update Opportunity Products trigger by status
- Export product updates from the Pricing Table and Quote Builder into opportunity products (standard and custom fields)
- Add and remove opportunity products based on their selection in the Pricing Table and Quote Builder, as well as when they are explicitly added or removed from the document.
- Export data from PandaDoc Merge Field to Salesforce object fields when a document changes status to Sent/Completed.
- improved the Import from CRM functionality: you can import updates to all line item fields (custom and default) to the Pricing table and Quote builder. You can also import added and removed line items.
Here's an article you can follow to stay updated on further improvements to our Salesforce Lightning Integration - Salesforce Integration Changelog.

Additional Document Triggers within the Salesforce managed package so that different PandaDoc fields completed by the document signer can be selected once configured between salesforce fields and tokens.
Also we are an organisation that manages different sales processes in Salesforce with object record types, we would like to be able to configure Document Opportunity Triggers differently for each Record Type not just at a global level. We share opportunity stages between record types for reporting purposes. -

Ability to sync contact, account, data and customer objects. If the recipient changes any of the data. They would like that change to be reflected in Salesforce.

Just paid for the automation feature to update products in salesforce, thinking THIS is what that meant... It doesn't... Do not pay for the automation feature for updating products - You still have to manually enter your products before the initial push, and I still haven't been able to get that to push back to salesforce properly. I would happily pay the $39 a month for this full feature if it worked. This is not that.

Yes, we have optional items, and changing quantities, but we need that product data to pass back to Salesforce when the changes are made. I also don't understand why it suggests that there is two-way sync but I've never been able to get it to work at all.

Field values are already updated back to Salesforce, but deleting/adding rows to the pricing table is not reflected on the Salesforce side.

Are we sure this isn't available? This article suggests that it is:
https://support.pandadoc.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022312373-Salesforce-sync-triggers#h_01F0VBM8DE95ZVJG6MJ5X6PTM2It states:
Update Opportunity Products when PandaDoc pricing table is updated
You can have Opportunity Products updated automatically when PandaDoc Pricing table in the document is changed. To enable this feature In Salesforce, click on the “+” at the top and then click “PandaDoc Setup'. Scroll down to “Document trigger settings”, enable “Update Opportunity products”.
However I cannot get it to work. Anyone got thoughts on this?

We would love to be able to pull in information from a picklist in Salesforce into a PandaDoc and then validate/update the information on that picklist in the PandaDoc itself and have that update the picklist back in Salesforce. This is for our internal Customer Success use case and would be able to be used in a few different ways. One way is being able to validate the Teams using PandaDoc.

Needs to sync more than just the pricing table, although that is a necessary first step. Need to be able to extract information from fields populated by the signer and populate that back into the Salesforce opportunity.

Make it possible for Pandadoc to to pull product information directly from the Salesforce catalogue with full two-way communication. A user should be able to add, remove, and adjust items within Panda and that information should be fully communicated to the products section of that Opportunity.
-
When a document is created and the products or discounts are updated within the document for the product or discount to be updated within salesforce.
-
Having a way to use dynamically the dates from SFDC to PandaDoc would be great (ie: depending on the template, selecting how we want the date to be displayed).
-
When a recipient chooses a multiple choice option from the pricing table, the choice syncs back to Salesforce.

This is a major turn-off for Sales Reps to have to re-do proposals and price sheets when they run into a pricing change (add/delete) and they have to go back to SFDC to correct. 2-way updates against the opportunity would remove a huge point of friction
-
Once a proposal is in a "sent" status the products will be automatically updated in salesforce

when an editable qty is not selected or set to 0 it should reflect as 0 qty in salesforce products
