Compression feature within PandaDoc - reduce size of PDFs
Compression feature within PandaDoc once downloading PDF (reduce size of PDFs)
Hi. Thank you so much for reaching out about this and sharing your perspective. While we currently don’t offer this feature, we are planning on offering something similar to it in the near future. We can’t give you the exact timeline of when it will be ready, but we can tell you that it’s already in the works and we’ll have it available in one of our upcoming releases.
We will be communicating it through our product newsletter and via alerts inside PandaDoc.

When a document is signed, it is no longer editable. My original unsigned PDF document might be 500 or 600 KB. But when it gets signed, the PDF file jumps to about 1500 KB. In some cases, with large and complex documents, the size may jump up to several MBs. However, there is no way to compress it down because the document is locked for editing. So, there needs to be an internal PandaDoc method that automatically compresses the document as much as possible (or based on user input) so that the document can be as small as possible, especially when it comes to saving the document locally or emailing it to the customers.
